2012 Product Update - Steel Isolating Mat 297 983 (kit)

We would like to inform you about the following technical change.

To assure the proper function of the steel isolating mat 297 983 we have changed the content of the kit and have added 1 x 951 880 hose clamp (20-32) as well as an updated installation instruction (dated 2012-02-07) to the kit.

Steel isolating mats 297 983 supplied as of April 2nd, 2012 have the changed content.

With the Bulletin 01-2012 (dated February 27^th, 2012) of the Technical Regulation of the ROTAX MAX Challenge (Located Here) the use of the steel isolating mat 297 983 is an allowed option for the engine configurations; 125 Mini MAX, 125 Junior MAX, 125 MAX and 125 MAX DD2. The steel isolating mat must be mounted as described in the installation instruction dated 2012-02-07. We ask you to inform your customers accordingly.

For steel isolating mats 297 983 which you have on stock without the hose clamp 951 880, we ask you to add a hose clamp 951 880 and to exchange the installation instruction before you supply the kit to your customers.

Although the kit 297 983 is as of now also including the hose clamp 951 880, the recommended retail price 2012 remains unchanged.
