The Future Of ROTAX In America Is Announced

BRP Powertrain GmbH & Co KG announces the appointment of MAXSpeed Group as the operator of the United States ROTAX MAX Challenge and ROTAX MAX Pan-American Challenge for ROTAX MAX Members in 2011.

This new company is a collaboration of three successful businessmen composed of Michel Boisclair, the first North American Distributor of ROTAX MAX engines beginning in 1999 (SRA group), Garry Lobaugh of Three Oaks, Michigan who joined as one of the first ROTAX dealers in the U.S. over ten years ago and Richard Boisclair, professional business manager and distribution expert. The company will headquarter in Three Oaks, Michigan.

“This is a huge opportunity to establish a single source importer with a dynamic team of Rotax enthusiasts and business professionals who have a plan for the long term growth of the Rotax program,” remarked Lobaugh.

·  REQUIRED -Micro Max Carburetor – Combination #2 Needle Jet K-98- 8.5 insert- gr3.6 floats, Idle jet marked “60” digits Idle jet insert marked “60”

 

· REQUIRED -Mini Max Carburetor – Combination #1 Needle Jet K-98- 12.5 insert – gr5.2 floats, Idle jet marked “30” digits Idle jet insert marked “30” digits

 

· Micro Max main jets – Only  main jets marked: 115/118/120/122/125/128/130/ as supplied from Rotax  Brp Micro Max Jet package *main jet marked 132 is not allowed

 

· Micro Max & Mini Max -Event organizers may specify single main jet or a choice of allowed main jets for event.

 

· Junior Max- Senior Max – Rotax Masters – DD2 Sr & DD2 Master must use either Combination #1                      or                          Combination #2
