Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals
The Grand Finals Comes To The U.S.A.!
The MAXSpeed Group is excited to finally announce that the 2013 Grand Finals will be coming to the United States.
The event will be held November 13-16 at the karting facility at the NOLA Motorsports Park, just outside New Orleans.
"This event has been our primary focus ever since we started handling the distribution of Rotax products in the United States," said MAXSpeed president Richard Boisclair. "For the last two years, everyone at The MAXSpeed Group, NOLA Motorsports Park and BRP-Powertrain have been working very hard to make this happen."
For BRP-Powertrain's Robert Gumpenberger, this announcement is also the realization of a goal. "It has always been our desire to have a Grand Final in the United States. But the time and conditions have never been right," said Robert. "But now, with the efforts of The MAXSpeed Group, I believe now is the correct time for the Grand Finals to be hosted in America. We are all looking forward to a very special event in New Orleans."

CONCEPT
The Rotax MAX Challenge GRAND FINALS is an international CIK event and has become the most prestigious championship in the world of karting.
Pilots can qualify for the RMC Grand Finals via the national RMC of their home country and the international RMC. The season's winners of each class of all national RMCs and of the international RMC will be invited to the Grand Finals by BRP-Powertrain. Race equipment like chassis, engines, tyres, fuel, tools, kart trolleys will be provided to all participating drivers in order to guarantee equal opportunities and fair races!
The basic intention of the RMC GRAND FINALS is to apply the team spirit as well as true sportsmanship to an international semi-professional kart racing series. Every year competitors from more than 60 countries, from five continents can qualify for the annual GRAND FINALS.

The competition is carried out in three basic categories:
At the GRAND FINALS, winners will be named in the following classes:
Rotax Junior MAX with 20.4 hp (13-16 years of age)
Rotax Senior MAX with 28.5 hp (15 years of age and older)
Rotax DD2 MAX with 32.6 hp (15 years of age and older)
Rotax DD2 Masters MAX with 32.6 hp (32 years of age and older)
Nations Cup the best team consisting of one driver per class (Junior, Senior, DD2 and DD2 Masters MAX)
